  1. Last two stops were just driver changes and fuel. Early in the race I went off track and corner workers didn’t see me. Luckily my new Sampson Racing Radios system was working perfectly and teammates got the tower to tow me out. Car was fine. I overheated myself later on and didn’t get back in the car till near the end. If had kept it on the black stuff we could have jumped a couple spots. Crazy fast and narrow track. Lots of traffic still trying to figure out a good line around too. Car was great this driver needed some help. Great day overall

  2. WE have your bike. IF you want to see it again please leave 7 dollars in a plain paper bag at the 7-11 garbage can on Monday night. Do NOT try anything funny. WE know where you live (and keep your cars). IF you decide that 7 dollars is too much to pay WE will start mailing you pieces of your bike. Pieces we CUT OFF. No funny business. Oh, the bike smells really bad so please pay.

  3. Ran great Saturday. Sunday was looking good, Andrew holding on to 2nd (after a great starting position) running similar times to positions 3-10 when the oil pressure started dropping and then plummeted a few laps later. We think the engine is safe but something seems to be wrong with the oil pump / oil pickup system. We were feasting on the straights but the aero cars had us beat in the corners. Lots of fun racing this weekend. Will post more in an upcoming results thread.

  4. The mini is plenty fast. A BMW rolling around the track with a Honda sound. It did sound good.

  9. +1 For C5 setup. Car has enough brake in the rear. Run some vansteel adapters and carbotech xp12 pads up front (xp10 rear). Rotors are cheap. Also, this setup will let you run stock 17"wheels (might need to kiss the back of the calipers just a tiny bit). Gut the doors but don't remove that bar; door is unbearabley flimsy w/o it. We kicked the side/Nascar bars into the door area for more driver room/survivability area. Smartly gut the underneath of the hood and pin it by the windshield. A completely gutted hood will flex too much when you try to open it.

  10. We will be have 15+ people also. I was told 1000 person max. 72 teams registered as of now. Figure 50-100 people from the track and Champcar. That leaves 12-13 people per team. Some teams don't bring but 3-4 people, I think we should be okay to not have a per team number like at Charlotte. I have heard you will have to provide the track a list of people that will be attending.

  11. Great day for us at Nelson Ledges test day before the race. Completed several hours of track time and got the car through 2020 tech inspection with no major problems. Found a broken wheel stud and a loose stud in the piaddock between run sessions. Had spares and changed both. After 2 blown engines at two seperate pre race test days it was a great achievement to make it to Saturday.

  12. This is what we do when we tow to events for work as well. Towed from NC to Bowling Green and back over a long weekend with a new F250 from them for like $400. It makes ownership a very difficult decision.

  13. Well, it is made by Toyota, so maybe we can call it a big version of the MR2 and get it down to 250.
