  1. Thank you Huggy... If it was me, I would have waited just a day until I heard back from the track management. But after all I'm just the Race Director... Dana

  2. My thoughts also, just another thing the TAC needs to discuss. I am making a list, we will be busy for sure.

  3. So straight run without any angles are the key? And worry less about vent? Did a little test dumping into the air, this is 4gal 15mm outlet, 6mm vent: 32s 15mm outlet, 35mm vent: 30s 32mm outlet, 6mm vent: 12s 32mm outlet, 35mm vent: 7s

  4. It's not a problem with the BCCR. It was a problem with the BOD not thinking out their rulings, or knowing how far you guys would take the "open" rules. I also suspect that some of them don't know what's available out there for racers to buy, or know how many would jump at the chance to run a three-disc 5" clutch because I got a couple on eBay for a $150, and spent another $200 on the proper splined clutches, and a $100 for a new blank flywheel that took 10 minutes to drill for the crank, while using a Toyota automatic flexplate. The hydraulics was the hardest part of the whole setup on the To

  5. Although we can assign points, what say ya'll 10, 50, or 100 ? 10 is definitely not enough. 50 or 100 would be my advice, to discourage use, in order to keep costs down. edit: This item has been clouded in confusion since there were several different answers on the Knowledge Base/Tech Desk. TAC has discussed this at length multiple times and were happy with it at one time before our recommendation was reversed. I'll have to dig up old notes to see exactly what that was.

  8. Yes, tell your customers to stay home. Good plan! let us know when you have good info instead of speculation and we can react to good info instead of speculating

  10. Thanks. I forgot to mention that this is for a non chumpcar that requires these tires. However next year they are using the rt660 Running the RE71r on my NC, it's like it's glued to the ground. Love that tire. I went out today and did a little better, did 1.35 but need to do 1.33. more practice should so it.

  13. Then why not just stick with installing Stock parts on your build and get racing? You don't need to have an alum radiator or upgraded clutch/flywheel to compete or be competitive. Work on your race craft and team stuff for a few races while the rules settle and you find out what really needs upgraded on your car. As @MR2 Biohazard said here 2 pages back, there's nothing that says you must upgrade just because it's "free" or because you have room in your build's total points. My team tries to run as many used stock parts as possible because we're cheap and the parts have proven

  14. The Level One Racing Miata headed to Sebring coming off the high of our first win at PBIR, with the energy to continue the performance. Our streak of failures and catastrophic contact appeared behind us and the team was excited to get to our home track. We had a guest driver for this event, Eb Vasquez, from TEK Motorsports, sitting in for Nick Soriano. Nick would be playing fuel/crew man for the day. We drew a decent starting position and rolled off 17th. John (as seen on TV) Wilding would start with the hope he could get us to the front. He quickly got us in the top 10
