  3. Update: 8 months in my throttle pedal return spring failed - luckily it was a practice race. This raises some questions about the long term viability of the Thrustmaster T150 set. It did it's job and let me know my network connection supports iRacing, and I want to keep doing it. The pedal set is exceedingly simple on the inside, so I just fabricated a new torsion spring setup and fixed it. Full write up here hoping to increase maintenance interval past 8 months. For now I will continue to use it.

  4. what gets lost in all of this is the idea that if we want grassroots racing to thrive, it should be easy to administratively float between two series like CC and WRL, and while you may optimize for one or the other, the important part is that you get to maximize race time in your given region. this is the point i was trying to make earlier, and just didn't articulate it very effectively. it's unclear to me at this point that the root cause issues with the rule that were manifest with the 'vette situation and apparently a previous one at indy with boxster have been addre
