  1. I believe they use one of these.

  2. Via the same process Family Guy episodes are written (according to South Park). We get the manatees to draw balls with VPI #s written on them......

  3. And finished! It doesn't clash as bad as it looks...

  4. That would cause me to be very suspicious of the wiring/relay. Also check your surge tank closely, they are infamous for coming full of chips, I know this one from experience. What makes it difficult for you is that it only happens when everything is hot, it is very difficult to recreate this in testing around the neighborhood. Good luck.

  5. Another thing to watch out for is that there are a lot of knockoff 044 pumps out there…

  6. Basically never wears...... The repave has moved the tire wear to about what you would expect at barber. Lemons guys will get a 24 race plus potentially another race day out of a set. The kink is also nearly gone and the line now matches what you would "geometrically" expect vs driving around looking for the best patches of grip.

  7. VRG is adding a 2nd car for 2021 and we have 13 races scheduled for this year. We are looking for experienced drivers to help fill openings. Our team goal is to be competitive with both cars, one being an aero car and the other being a HP(ish) car. They are both 944S. If you have experience racing in traffic, NOT passing under yellow and avoiding car to car contact and are interested let me know ASAP. Our team does this for FUN and if we do well or not at a race, hopefully at the end of the day the journey and life experience are what matters most to you and not the BADASS trophies Champcar gives out. Email-Ronh911@yahoo.com P.S.-If you need tea and crumpets with your racing we are not for you, you will be required to fuel cars, hold a fire extinguisher and maybe even apply duct tape(no longer taped) to our beauty queens! Available races update 13Jun21 Nelson, 8+7 Gingerman, 8+7 Thompson, S12 AMP, 8+7

  10. They only have about 2 dozen spots total so demand>supply. I'm used to $30-50/day at most 30A campsites (that usually include water/sewer hookup though) so I didn't even balk. $200 for the garage spot for the weekend was the one I had to stop and really think about.

  11. This may be accurate too:

  12. I have my fuel pump wiring set up like that. I can easily swap the spade connectors (~10 seconds) to go direct from switch to pump or to bring the relay into the circuit. Direct is great for garage work / pumping out the tank / troubleshooting. I run it through the relay before going to the track though, for safety.

  13. I found two that offer Mid Ohio “packages”. Probably only for spectator type races. I sent each one an email if and when I get an answer I’ll share. https://www.hatfieldrv.com/check-out-hatfields-rv--rental-inventory

  14. Went to go sign up for a RV spot. Holy crap they are proud of those. $30 per DAY! I can put a lot of fuel in the generator for $120. It appears the paddock is still mostly dirt, so plywood and bases for jack stands would be a good idea if you plan on doing any work.

  15. I had a mostly clogged fuel filter which acted a lot like how you describe.

  16. If you study ChampCar results, you quickly find that one of the top 3 failures is fuel pumps. Running flat out for hours at a time causes the fuel in the tank to get surprisingly warm, which shortens the life of the pumps. Also check your wiring, fuel pumps need good strong current to work efficiently. I thought I had a better idea when Holley gave us these cool fuel pumps that are actually 2 pumps inside one housing, if one fails I have a switch on the dash to switch to the other one. Unfortunately one year at the 24hr when we had a cracked header and everything was getting overheated it was the switch in the dash which failed, so neither pump would work and it took me a while to figure out what the problem was.

  17. That's what it's acting like, though at RA on Saturday I did change it with the same results. Didn't have an easy way to check fuel pressure but will now.. Thanks!
