  1. Actually, we're going to try something new this year. Bill will be wearing the special awards, things like watches, rings, wallets, etc. The first person to knock him down and take them, gets to keep them. If he fights back, it's all just part of the fun! Enjoy! Dana

  2. We used to do it for like 85 but that was several years ago.. Cost me more in fuel to haul there than it did to put the car on track!

  4. Well had a better part of the day off for my first colonoscopy! Felt good enough after that I swapped out the transaxel on the race car! Lol. All done and great now! No more leaking anywhere too me or the car! Ready to find a track day to do. The Milwaukee Mile road course looks interesting next month, been a bucket list track I haven't raced on yet.. my Dad used to bring my brothers and I to the ASA and Indy races there back in the late 60's early 70's. Fell in love with Norm Nelson's Superbird driven by Roger Mcclusky and have wanted one ever since. The GTI will do fine! Lol

  5. These new 200 tread wear main bearings are designed for autocross and have no place in budget endurance racing.

  6. Sounds like we need to ban these new cheater engines that are fast but don't last, the big budget teams are going to start changing them overnight and dominate the small guys who can only afford engines that last multiple weekends. Maybe some kind of limit on the number of engine bearings per weekend

  7. Having now traded for a different engine and pulled most of it apart, I can say that this newest engine is pristine. Certainly have enough time left to drop this into the engine bay and finish off autobahn prep.
