  1. Points to play with, and weight would be my guess
  2. It wasn't long ago that most publicly felt aero was not effective at the speeds we compete at Times seem to have changed
  3. I thought NC's were known as MX-5's My mistake
  4. B Class Miatas - safe to assume swapped. I've seen one turbo car in the past that would bump to B

  6. https://www.demon-tweeks.com/us/schroth-super-sport-xlt-fhr-device-991867/ When the pound was soft, I was able to get it bought for $200 shipped Seems to do everything I need it to
  7. Great heat deflection Leather is tough Been running them for 4 years now, still in great shape
  8. Check the supplemental rules for the event. It can vary by the track, are you asking in general or a test on a specific ChampCar weekend?
  9. Number of races is not correct on our car there, Bill Safe assumption any B Class NA/NB Miata has been swapped
  10. Close enough to Texas, that I'm sure most of the Lone Star teams will be in attendance. I wouldnt worry
  11. I know you haven't been to a race in years, but horse power is far more valuable than aero. Ask me how I know
  12. Watching over our film from Saturday, I'm glad there's one on the back of our car. LifeLine
  13. @Bill Strong did the borescope picture get posted for everyone? Just want to make sure everyone was happy with the findings
  14. Yeah agreed, very well could have been an isolated incident, but with this result, its not worth trying again in my mind.
  15. I'm a big fan of Buc'ees, but I won't trust their fuel any more. Ran some 93 at a WRL race in Houston this year, detonated and burnt up pistons in a brand new motor.
  16. It appears to be in alphabetical order, as it was the year before..
  17. @Bill Strong, our number of races is not correct FYI We're at 6 for the year
  18. 1-800-287-5013 They are great to work with, got us two sets before Sonoma this year, when everyone else was bone dry over the winter. Based out of Austin IIRC
  19. QFT, I think there has been a lot of unnecessary hostility directed at the board, for decisions they did not make. It appears to me they have recognized the issues and are taking action to correct it. Some of yall are worse than the media, lets move on to the next news cycle please
  20. @Final Turn Motorsports, I'm not sure that the car has to be on a previous rule set. At Sonoma our car was not "as raced" in 2019. And we had more room to play with from 19 to 20's rules. There was no comparison to previous log book entries. In fact, we had to make a change to the 20 rules, granted it was on the fire bottle (a safety item) You might want to get clarification
  21. The new radiator rule would have been fine if the 10 point option was left in place. Now there is no middle ground... By trying to reduce spending, legacy teams will have to spend money to conform to the rule.
  22. It's worked pretty well so far. We still dzus the air dam into the upper half of the bumper cover. It might me difficult to get the bar flush with the air dam, but you could add some tabs I guess. Pro Tip: for the windows for the lights, get a replacement grinding mask shield. Plenty pliable, able to be cut to fit, and shatter resistant
