  1. Her is a Pic of the MidlifeMotorHeads... on the banking doing 145 at the S/F Line. Thanks...ChampCar & Tire Rack for a great Race! Click on the caption for info. Ron...
  2. MR. Frank...a friend of mine just called and gave me the web site for the rule book and I think I found the current regulations for fuel tanks and asc. hardware on pages 24 & 25. Please dis-reguard my request for my last questions. Tks, Ron....
  3. Sorry... Mr.Frank, My Bad.... I wasn't at the race, and I missed that part of extra points for the addd extra Points for the upper portion of the Air Dam (material).I'll ck with the Team owner. Good Point on the extra material for extra points as it states in the regs. and rules. Ray... just a quick question, if TiredTbirds were to add extra fuel that is allotted / or not alloted for TiredBirdes Gen III Fuel allotment, how can he add fuel, would it be just as simple as ordering a larger fuel tank. Or... would there be more points added? I saw a lot of cars from the pit pictures with ATL Fuel Cells? Thanks for all your help and feedback. Ron....
  4. Stick with the gen 2... heck you already have most of the parts, just make up your own small fuelcell and add on to the small one you already have with a drain down tube for the extra fuel that meets sepcs. /regs! Just my 2 cents... good luck! Ron...

Make up you own air dam and mini spliter like we did it on the C. Vic was only 20 Points!
  8. Hey... That is so fast for a 305... man you were what we call... "Hauling he Mail"... @ VIR!!!!! Ron...
  9. Hey TiredBirds, the 305 is a great endure engine although it has a higher rev per speed, but will still put out about 200 - 350 HP if tuned correctly and a big +++ HP Chev made a stock solid lifter race cam #098 just for the 305 & 327 & 350 engines (still legal) and it will pass for no extra points, that's when Duntoff was still at GM & in charge back in the late 60's and early 70's. Ron....
  10. Hey "Team Infiniti"....Thanks for the Rule Book heads up on fuel, etc, etc, now I understand the + 2 gallons. We are going to take a pass on Charlotte, have a lot of enduro work to do the car now, not sure when we will be back? Got a to of up grades to do!!!! Tks, Ron....
  11. Hummmm. if he fuel pump is in the front of the car can you run a 6" - 8" Fuel Line from the fuel cell to the fuel pump, that should help a lot? Ron...
  12. Hey TiredBrids, it looks like all the cars that were running up front had large fuel tanks or WF Cells... 22 gallon and up! Is there a limit on the size fuel tank u can use? Tks, Ron...
