I live in northern Arizona around Prescott Valley, and I just found out about this ChumpCar stuff and it sounds like something I really want to get involved in. Is there anyone in Arizona that are ChumpCar racers or teams that a new guy could set up a meet and pick your brain about?
Bought about 4 years ago with hopes to Chump... has been lawn art ever since. No battery, fuel pump needs to be replaced. Engine and transmission intact. Transmission leaks out of pan a bit. Interior is totally thrashed. Perfect starter chump or parts car! Clean, notarized title. Make us an offer!! Located in Northern Arizona. Will need to tow. PM or reply here for additional info. Thanks
After running this car for a couple of years, were moving on. The last race we ran with it was Vegas November 2014. The car ran like clockwork, not a single hitch for both 8 hour stints. We finished mid field against some serious competition, not bad for three old boys! It's ready to race and has several full sets of wheels, four last time I counted, all shod with various levels of wear, Dunlops. There's a spare block and a spare gearbox too as well as other various odds and ends in the way of parts. Price for everything, all spares wheels tires and the race ready car $2500 We have an extra block with balanced crank and rods. The fuel injection has been replaced with a 350 cfm Holley carb (new) – we liked the idea of getting rid of the high pressure gasoline in the engine compartment. The pressure is now 5 psi rather than 40+. The car is still running the engine computer for the stock distributor, but we also have a modified Ford 6 cyl distributor with electronic ignition if you want to go full retro. That’s where we were heading before we decided to build a Porsche 944 instead. Also have several spare calipers, front strut (left), one set of turned and ready to go front rotors, extra fuel pump, etc. etc. Dash and electrical is custom and all stock wiring is gone. The car does not have a fire system. Cage is professionally built. The bumps and scraps on the body were also applied by professionals, but there is no extra charge for them.
