  5. Ever since we became "Champcar" the forum has been full of nothing but rules bickering. What happened? There used to be some quality here, Build threads, For Sale posts, informative PSA's on how to be safer, etc. Now its just a bunch of people arguing. Is it the name? Are we getting too fancy for our own shoes?

  7. So we were going over some video from last year and one of our drives remembered an odd crash that happened in front of him. We found the incident. It is in this video, about 30 seconds, first at real speed and then at 1/2 speed. White Miata (looks like 968) appears to rear end the black Miata (cannot make out the number) which then spins, perhaps hitting the inside wall, as the black car's front end comes around, it punts the white Miata into the air, which is narrowly missed by Flying Tigers Racing driver Andy Maiers, who was hard on the binders, and then slams down to the pave

Trust me guys, if you haven't run on a high bank track, you are missing out and this is your one chance this year in the West region. The complaint was "VEGAS in August, ARE YOU CRAZY!!!" Well, I have moved it to May so that excuse is OUT THE WINDOW!!! So, ask your questions and I am sure your fellow

  11. I am new to this whole cheap...ish...racing thing and am looking into both ChumpCar World Series and LeMons racing, but I live in AZ, and most my friends that are willing to drive and join my team still live in CA and I travel for work (Construction), so it makes it hard for everyone to get a decent amount of seat time in the race car, and deciding on a central race to ease traveling costs on everyone also seems like it will be a hassle... so I was wondering are there any race clubs or series that are on the cheaper side like ChumpCar and LeMons that are not endurance races? that a solo or two
  12. Hey everyone I'm Ron, I just found out about this thing called ChumpCar and LeMons racing 2 days ago, at age 35 and loving to drive cars fast you would think I would have found this by now but you know... Anyways I am looking to get my first Chumper and start building her up in hopes to spin her tires around the track for the first time in 2018 (Is a year - year and a half reasonable for a first time build?) I am on here today asking for advice on what is a good car to start with, though I know many have their own personal preferences on make and models, or engine size and weight, I am lo
