  1. Before my old Miata went bye bye, I pulled a lot of good stuff out of it, some of which is being using in the new build, but the motor is not. It's a 1.8 stock motor, decked head and block, new valves 4 races ago, and is simply a tremendous motor. I have a dyno sheet for it done a few years ago. I'm selling the longblock complete for $700, including both manifolds, alternator. A/C and power steering pump deleted long ago. I'm in Denver, if you want shipping you'd have to arrange it, but this should be a plug and play motor. We had the fastest lap time at Laguna in November last year among Miatas by almost a second, at 1:52, and there was more in the car but I got rain. Other parts available: radiator starter water pump belts ECU MAF Come and get this. Cross-posted in various places, first come, first served.
  2. Long story short, my race car build has come to a halt. I was driving my MK1 Volkswagen around while collecting parts for the build and someone ended up hitting me hard enough to write the car off. I've decided to part out all my stuff now as finding a decent shell to start again will be difficult. I had Terry Bride at Terry Bride Racing Engines and Machine complete an entire overhaul of the entire motor. There are brand new pistons which I purchased separately (not reflected on the bill) and of course bearings and rings. I will be including a 5speed transmission flywheel (new), and clutch (new), stainless 4-2-1 header (new) as well as all the misc bits to get 90% of the motor fitted to a MK1 chassis with the sale. I am asking $1000obo (CAD) for EVERYTHING. I really just want to part with it all, parts are located in Surrey, BC.
  3. Languishing in my garage is a near complete (less intake manifold) Ford 5.0 from a 1998? Mercury Mountaineer and Tbird IRS that I purchased the engine from a salvage yard years ago for a Factory Five project that morphed into a kitchen remodel. I have decided to carry more Alfa transaxle spares and need to make room in the garage. Someone low ball me and come get the stuff. I'd rather see it go to a Chump than some Craigslist killer.
  4. Looking for a seat throughout this season, preferably in the south, or parts of the midwest. Tracks like VIR, Charlotte, Road Atlanta, Summit Point, and Gateway. Here's a quick rundown of my driving experience Raced karts for 10 years (I'm 17) Only local driver to get into the main races at the 2013 Rotax Grand Nationals (ended up getting knocked out, those national drivers are ruthless) 2013 GoPro Motorplex Rotax Junior Champion 2nd and 3rd in 2012 and 2011 Powerade Rotax Karting Championship seasons at Carolina Motorsports Park 3rd place qualified and 7th place finish in King of the Concrete Flathead Champ Kart class 4th place in Teen Champ Kart points in first dirt oval racing season Started racing Lemons this year: May Carolina Motorsports Park Lemons race- (Team KFC '82 Toyota Celica) September CMP Lemons race- 5th in Class B, 16th Overall (Team KFC '82 Toyota Celica) Not to be a show off or anything, but those two races there was only one other person driving with me, so we're pretty proud of those results haha Shoot me an email at kscf31@gmail.com Thanks, Joey Essma
