  2. Pit Maneuver Experts Racing Team is based out of the NW metro Atlanta area. Team members, all equal shareholders, Drew Huseby, William McCourt, Chris Porter and Mike McCourt. We are hoping to debut at the 2020 season opener at Road Atlanta and wherever else our budget allows us afterwards. The car is a 1987 Nissan 200sx/S12 coupe, powered by a BMW M50B25TU.
  3. Hi guys, so my team just finished Sebring and we felt that the suspension needed a bit of work. We have a 1986 nissan 300zx, non-turbo. I'm trying to get some upgraded shocks for the car and ideally I would like for it to be within the 2X rule. I saw that according to the rules "The retail price of any NEW replacement wheel, brake caliper, brake rotor (1 or 2 piece), or shock absorber that you put on your ChampCar must be less than twice the cost of a stock replacement wheel, brake caliper, brake rotors, or shock absorber that is available on-line by a nationally recognized auto parts retail chain (i.e. - Napa, AutoZone, O’Reilly, Advanced, etc.)." My confusion here is that all of those retailers have wildly varying prices and I'm not sure which price to base the 2X rule from. Autozone alone has prices from $55 to $150 for a single strut. Additionally, what if the parts are not available from those retailers, such as for wheels, should the 2X rule price be based from the manufacturer website? Thanks!
  4. I was racing at VIR this weekend, first of all what a great event and well done to everyone involved. There was one occasion where I completely outbraked myself while trying to defend three other cars going into the first corner. It was stupid and I shouldn't have done it, but hey that's racing. There was no contact and I managed to keep it on the black top so let's just move on without people calling me the idiot I already know I am. Anyway, I was hoping one of the cars behind me caught it on their in car video. I was in a white Nissan 240sx (#248 - Two Forties Racing) Behind me was an Orange BMW e36, one of the Porsches (I think green) and maybe an e30 It was on Sunday morning at about 10am

  6. Just got back from a track day (down to 1:33.5 at Hallett), and it is ready to be flogged. I just don't have any more time to commit at this point in my life. Too many other car projects in the cue that will eat up my time and $. Have been to Gateway in STL 2x with this, NCM 1X, and COTA 1x (ran 2:52.3 on the long course in 2016). Here's the link to the full ad, https://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/d/1991-nissan-sentra-se-racecar/6324115193.html I am looking to deal, thanks!
  7. I was Road America checking out the Chump race today, and I was talking to teams about a Nissan i think Maxima that was for sale there. I didn't see it around anywhere, pretty sure it was gone before I got there. Does anybody have info on it? Or any info on other chump cars for sale in the area. Thanks in advance!
  8. *******SOLD********** Hey all, The time has come to unload our beloved S13 240sx (KA24DE engine) enduro car that is basically race ready to focus on a new build. *Pics and price below* This chassis actually hasn't raced much; 3 races to be exact with a couple of HPDE's in between. It's our second S13 as the first one was wrecked and we transferred the roll cage to this chassis (see google drive link below). We won overall in this car at the New Hampshire LeMons race in 10/2015 (first 240sx to win overall in Lemons). The car is very well tooled with spares and well setup. Following that race we prepped the car to run in AER at Watkins Glen (4/2016) with a new garage paint job and some fancier bits. Unfortunately, the KA spun a rod bearing on practice day after 70+ hours of track time. We managed to find a good KA on Craigslist a couple hours away, swapped important parts from the blown engine, threw it in and managed to finish the weekend with a full day of racing (8 hours) on Sunday. That engine is still in the car. It's sweating a bit from the seals and needs a refresh (gaskets, seals; compression is good), but runs well. We may or may not refresh it and give it a once over prior to sale depending on what a potential buyer wants. Here's some laps from Watkins Glen on said engine: https://youtu.be/iEVqN-xTtWk With that said, the car is very well setup, super easy and predictable to drive and is basically ready to roll. Every single part has been touched and addressed if required. How it stacks up in ChumpCar now with the new rules I'm not sure, but there are spares to easily bring it to a level that you may want. Car is setup for taller drivers and will come with all required safety items to pass tech. This car has passed tech in ChumpCar, 24 HOL, and AER in its current configuration and dates are all good to go. Here are some build pictures for this chassis: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1xjLBm5axUXSUpXdEdqZGpTLUE List where I'll probably forget some stuff: Safety -Roll Cage Components 1.75" OD x 0.095" Wall DOM roll cage with NASCAR door bars on both sides -Momo Daytona XL Halo Seat -Scroth 6 Point harness -4 Liter Multi-Flo Steel Mechanical AFFF Fire System -Window Net -SFI Roll Cage padding -NRG quick release steering wheel hub Suspension/Wheels -Ground Control Coil Over Sleeves, 450 lbs/in front, 350 lbs/in rear -Koni yellow struts/shocks.
