  12. We are looking for drivers to fill our remaining seats at the december vir race. We are bringing both neons and have a few stints open. Message me if interested. One car is a recent build with a stock neon motor. Has speed to run top 15 to top 10. The other car is a 2.4 swap and has the speed to run in the top 5 when run well and clean. The swapped car has a podium to its credit last year and has been in the top 3 at a few events before sliding back. Fun easy to drive rides.
  13. I'm getting back into racing after a break (I did some SCCA racing a long time ago - had an enduro win at Summit Point and a sprint win at Nelson Ledges). I've been doing HPDE events pretty regularly over the years since then and can turn some pretty quick and consistent laps, but I'm probably not going to set a lap record. I'm easy on the equipment (all of the cars I raced back in the day were Showroom Stock cars with awful brakes, so I learned to turn good laps without destroying brake pads). I'm a decent amateur mechanic (I have done the maintenance on my track cars myself). Anyone got a seat open?
  14. I am looking for a driver with at least one race of door to door experience. Some info about my car and the team: It is a 1995 Mustang GT. Not much has been done to improve HP, but it has typical 302/5.0 HP and will walk away from you if you aren’t careful exiting turns. Most of my modifications have been to durability and handling. I think it’ll start 5 laps down under this year’s Chump rules, but that’s really hard to predict until they look at it. * We are looking for realistic, level headed drivers who have some door to do experience. Winning is nice, no question about it, but the only purse is Chump Change. Shoving your way through will make no difference in your podium purse, but avoidable contact will make a difference in your wallet after you’ve paid me for repairs. * Our number one priority is to finish the race. Endurance racing isn’t about who goes the fastest, but who goes the furthest. If you are 5 seconds per lap faster than anyone else, but run off the track or get black flagged for contact or cause breakage on the car you’ll lose all of that time plus more. * It’s a budget car for Christ’s sake, it won’t hold up to ham fists and bang shifters… so don’t. * I prefer a team approach to repairs. In theory since you don’t own the car, you can sit and watch as we work on the car, but you might as well hold the steering wheel at the same time since it’s behind the wheel time you’re wasting while the car is in the pit. The longer it’s in the pit, the less we all get to drive. * The idea is to race hard and try to win but never knowingly break the rules and always be able to drive the car on the trailer. The PIR race will cost $810 and will split driving time between 4 drivers. (I charge $45 per race length hours so PIR’s 18 hours comes to $810. I don’t provide your chumpcar membership, lodging or meals, but pay for all other consumables and entry for the car. Give me a call if you're interested. Five Zero Three-Three 20-732 Seven Len White
  15. Who wants to go down in history as the first ever ChumpCar Canada Chumpionship winning team? We are going to Mosport and we are serious about it. "What's in it for me?", you might ask. Nothing glamorous, to be honest. Just what that often-quoted Shackleton Arctic Circle expedition ad says: "Drivers wanted for hazardous journey. No wages, bitter rivalry, long hours of complete concentration. Monetary return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success." We are looking for serious drivers only in the sense of dedication and commitment to giving it all you've got. You don't have to be the next Alain Prost but you have to be a team player and possess a mix of maturity (not age-related) and common sense. Interested? Contact us.

You will take care of your Lodging and transportation (to/from the track). You get about 3 hours in the car (either 2 1.5hr stints or 3 1hr stints). Our car is very easy to drive, competitive, fun and predictable. We give you an estimated time driver line up before the race, If you have a cool shirt bring it as well as a drink bottle. 19. Black Magic Motorsports has a seat availble for the Wakins Glen race in may. Pricing for our events is typically 400 to 500 per 2hr stint. We are partnered up with another team running a newly prepped similar car (but stock engine), so seat time could be in either car desired. Our car is a 95 neon. We have several top 5 finishes in the car with the old stock engine. One race on new 2.4 swapped engine at vir. At vir brakes wore out 9hrs in and we had to pit from top 5, but only one car in top 10 could match our fastest lap (1.23 flat). We were able to unlap ourselves, it is a competitive ride. Message or post if interested. We need one more driver to fill out teams for both cars. Looking for driver with experence if you want to run the 2.4l car (for your safety and ours, it is quick). Drew

  21. Just ran my first Chump at Fontana and it was a howling hoot of a time. Only drove on Sunday morning at the start and had lots of fun. I am an experienced driver and I'm doing this for the camaraderie and the fun aspect. I really haven't had this much fun behind the wheel or handlebars in a very long time. Did do a couple of Lemons last year with the same team and we are looking forwards to next year with our little Pink Panther Miata in Chump. Due to some "aerodynamics modifications" to the exterior of the vehicle we are skipping Vegas but will be back in force at Laguna. At any rate, at Fontana there was a team with a white SM and I believe the owner's name was Barry from Oregon or Northern California.....I think. Tough to remember as we get older and more brain cells die by the wayside. At any rate, if anyone can put me in touch with him I would greatly appreciate it. If someone needs a paced, elderly (read that ...wise) driver for Vegas. Just shoot me a PM via this site. Thanks you Chump Monsters. Flatinfifth Los Angeles, CA
  22. Fellow Chumps, Check out our SCHEDULE for available seats, next race being on October 19th in Bowling Green, KY at the brand spanking new National Corvette Museum race track!!! T3R Chief Chump, Justin
  23. We are looking for drivers for our Award winning 81 Mazda RX-7 and 94 Mustang GT 5.0 (newly built). Daytona requires some type of road racing experience due to the high speeds. We estimate about 2.8hr drive time for a 5 team car and 3.5hr drive time 4 team car. We have spare parts in case of emergencies but hope we don't need to use them. We have coolsuit boxes in each car, if you have a shirt and radio communications. We supply drinks (Gatorade, Water, soda and more water) and snacks at the pits, also at our trailer. Your welcome to relax in our 53' A/C trailer and lounge with 55" TV with movies and Xbox with plenty of games. If you have your own GoPro or other camera we can mount them in the car and take them out after your session, which plug into our TV for larger viewing. We have a GoPro if you'd like to have video, bring your own MicroSD card. 81 Mazda RX-7 - $1250 94 Mustang 5.0 - $2500 I attached our flyer that has pictures of the cars and our trailer. Please call or email if your interested. The cars are already registered and the event is full. Sign up soon, seats will go quick. Buddy Hendricks Motorsports Buddyhendricks@live.com 407-699-5556

  25. http://forums.delphiforums.com/2020racing/messages/?msg=136235.1 $400 plus a $55 license plus a $30 pit pass= $485 That's for a 7 lap heat and a 15 lap feature on a 3/8 mile track. Think about the cost per hour vs a Chump rent-a ride.
