  1. Here's the deal, Team Infiniti and the Shark car are sitting out a couple of races in prep of the Championship and Indy, that leaves me, primary car owner /master tech mostly free to hang out with other BMW teams while researching our new build @ Road Atlanta & Daytona. Bothering the other e30 teams will only take so long before security steps in.... Give me something to do. I know breaking down or crashing is not on most teams agenda, but stuff happens, please keep this thread in mind if someone you know is struggling. If not volunteering or being detained by security, a car that gets fixed at the track, even if out of the chase, is best tested before packing up and hoping it fixed itself before the next event. I will gladly help spin wrenches, replace suspension, or poke at a drivebility issue, a few laps would make my weekend! e30 teams especially invited to txt me even if there is no need to spin renches Ed 5six1-2five2-3933

  3. All of the racing world lost a good friend this past weekend when Hazel Harrell was tragically killed working T7 at Road Atlanta during a WERA event. Details of the incident are still being investigated, but it appears she was struck by a racer while attending to a fallen rider on course. Most of us knew her working at T7 for many many years as that flag stand was right next to the spectator area. She will be missed greatly and the Brew Krewe Racing Team extends our condolences to her family and friends. Godspeed Hazel... A donation site has been established to help her family through this difficult time. https://www.gofundme.com/hazel-harrell We challenge all the other ChumpCar racing teams as well as our fans and followers to match our small donation of $50.00. We couldn't do what we love to do without the corner workers and emergency staff on hand at the races...
  4. Did anyone use the Hankook R-S4 at this race who is willing to talk about how they liked them?
  5. Would anyone coming to the Road Atlanta event this weekend from the Charlotte area be willing to transport wheels and tires for me? I have 8 wheels in Charlotte, and I need them in Atlanta. Will happily compensate for your efforts with gas money, food, beer, or unending gratitude.
  6. We are looking for experienced drivers for both of our 84 Mazda RX-7's with 13b engines. Our rental is an Arrive & Drive where everything is included full crew support, Cool Shirt Box, Radio Communication, Drink Bottle (holder) or we can supply bottles, Live feed, timing and scoring monitors, fuel, tires, drinks, food, etc. Just bring yourself and your driving gear. You will take care of your Lodging and transportation (to/from the track). You get about 3 hours in the car. Our car is very easy to drive, competitive, fun and predictable. We give you an estimated time driver line up before the race. You bend it, you mend it policy. Rental fee is $2100 plus returnable damage deposit $1000 (put on credit hold, like rental car company). Please message or email me at buddyhendricks@live.com.
  7. 5th place finish in last year's Road Atlanta, with the fastest lap for the team (Team inACURAte). Drove day and night stints, with night laps only one second off of the fast lap during the day. (Road Atlanta was my home track). 5th place finish with the same team at the 2016 VIR south race 4th place finish at the 2016 VIR 24 with Team Huggins Didn't drive in the Chumpionship because our car (inACURAte) met a car going the wrong way on the track, right before my stint. So I am looking for a seat with a reasonably fast and reliable team. I'm not Randy Pobst, but I have a lot of experience and know that track well so I should be able to do good, consistent, fast laps. If you want to "test" me during the Friday test day and make a decision based on that, I'm fine with that. Furthermore, if you are a novice team that is trying to figure out if the car is slow or the drivers are slow, I would be open to doing some laps during the test day to give you a benchmark (it will take me about 10 laps to get to a representative lap). I'd be willing to do that even if a stint isn't available the next day. PM me if either of the above interests you. Thanks!
  8. Have an 88 Mustang GT CMC car listed for sale in the sale forum. Would consider selling shares to 4 others with an interest to form a new team in the Southeast area for tracks such as VIR, CMP, Road Atlanta. Would need one of the other team members to take possession of the car and act as team leader as I am buying a 2010 Spec Iron Mustang and will be running in NASA for much of 2016. Car runs great, has been to 2 track events over the last 3 weeks. More details on it can be found in the Chump forums for sales. I'm in Charlotte.
  9. I'm interested in competing in ChumpCar, but I need to see first hand what I'm getting into. I don't think I'm ready to drive, but if any team wants a somewhat handy nerd at Road Atlanta let me know. Thanks! Isaac

  15. HELLLLLOOOOOO Chumps! Well my eyes are bloodshot from the last two days of editing and uploading the photos from Road Atlanta, but I am happy to announce they are online for previewing. />http://www.awolphoto.com/event-photos/02-09-13-chumpcar-road-atlanta/ If you purchased at the track, thank you, and you should have already received an e-mail from me (eric@awolphoto.com) Sunday or Monday. Check your Spam / Junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox, or contact me if you still can't find it, I will resend. Also, if you (or your team) purchased trackside, those photos are uploaded in private galleries, and aren't immediately available in the "Proof / Preview" gallery (because full access gallery already exist). Everyone else, you can search by your Car # and purchase the full digital package from the top of the page (Via PayPal Button), and also prints through the "Click to Buy" button. We are looking forward to covering more ChumpCar races this year as the Official Event Photographer for the Series, and thank you for all your support the last couple of years, we couldn't do this without your support and positive feedback! Great race, horrible smell, little bit cold, but a bunch of fun! Take care everyone, Eric P.S.
