  1. So I haven't seen it mentioned in the forums all weekend (and that has really surprised me since the trunklid of a particular car has garnered a lot of action). So there is a red flag video on FaceBook that says we are going to have the Championship race at Charlotte this year. 14 hour, one day. The week after the Road America race. I have to admit that I don't love that track - maybe some of you can talk me into wanting to go..... (if there is already a thread on this that I somehow missed, reply and I will do my best to delete this one or edit the title to indicate it is redundant)
  2. "A Rovaling we’ll go A Rovaling we’ll go Hi Ho a derry oh A Rovaling we will go...." Hey Auto Club racers - We’re going to have a Brats and Dogs BBQ on Saturday evening after the race on Saturday (November 17). Buns, brats, dogs, and condiments (mustard, relish, and onions) will be provided, plus plates and utensils. Bring your own drink(s). Sides (pasta salad, coleslaw, sauerkraut, beans, etc) and dessert (cookies, brownies, sheet cake) are welcome if people have the inclination. Location in the paddock area to be determined, but it shouldn't be too hard to find it. Contact me through the forum via PM or at kris.oden@champcar.org if you have questions or if you want to talk food. Note: If you do not eat pork or beef, bring your own protein of choice and we’ll grill it.
