Saturdays race did not go as well as we had hoped.  The race started well and Cem worked his way up to 2nd.  We had a slow pit stop about 1:40 into the race that put us back to 17th.  Ozer managed to get us back up to 12th or 13th by the end of his stint.  Tamer got into the car and was starting to turn some good lap times when another car got into us and broke our outer tie rod.  We swapped the rod end and got back out.  Towards the end of Tamers stint the clutch would not disengage, thus we could not put it into gear with the motor running.  At this point, with two hours left in the race, we decided to pack it up.

We look forward to The Ridge, with any format that is provided.

In case anyone missed it at the awards ceremony, ChumpCar has secured two dates for PIR for next year. The weekends of August 7th and October 2nd 2015.

And a decent finish for the Maverick. Huzzah.

(I would have been there, but I spent Saturday down at the Great Oregon Steam-Up -- yeah, it's 95 degrees outside; let's stand around a bunch of fires and humidity-creators. I am reminded I have a *LONG* way to go before I am in any fit state to race.... :P )

Team Suprachumps would like to express a DEEP HEART FELT Thank You for putting up with our stubborn approach testing the dynamics of our 1984 Toyota Supra.  (we now know our limits, and no longer need to push them)  amazingly if we did trade paint you, it doesn't show.

For Reals,  Thank you to everyone whom participated, hung with us, passed us, and gave us the bird. We REALLY enjoyed the action. Some of the best driving ever at P.I.R.   Thank You.

Our Absolutely Awesome Trophy. (fitting since i'm a biker)  PERFECT!

Again, Thank you and i hope to hit the pavement with you guy's soon!  B)

We had lots of issues but we finished race! Sean ordered new dist cap and rotor which ended up giving engine a miss. Got that fixed had brake issues.Than brake line failed. replaced transmission before race yesterday it worked great. Lost a belt due to alternator fins spreading out. I got black flag and 7 min penalty. Transponder quit working but we had a great time and finished the race :)

Had a great time with PNR33 on Saturday. We had great pace and had moved up to 2nd place durig the first stint, but the racing gods were not with us as a series of bad luck dragged us back later that day. The team was awesome as always for mending the contact we suffered from a turn 12 incident with a BMW but later a clutch problem sealed the deal.

Some footage from my first stint, had a good battle that lasted more then a corner or two with a Toyota, looking forward to racing you again sir!

I must thank Cem for choosing our team to race with. He also rents seats with other teams on the same weekend that he races with us. He is very good with and to our car. You might notice how he really wants to use 5th gear I asked him not to and so he doesn't but you can see he thinks about it.He makes our look good driving it 5 to 6 seconds faster than myself and others that have driven the car.

Thanks to him and his life long friends Tammer and Ozer .we hav a solid group of drivers and haven't had to look for drivers for some time and they want to be with us as long as we race with Chumpcar.

That was me racing, i had a lot of fun racing with you and thank you for the Video.  I didn't know i left that much space on the corner 12 on the inside. But i remember that pass. Good driving sir.  With all the problems we had this weekend i don't think we will make it to the Ridge, (that will be 3 years in a row) maybe we'll help out and earn some chump change for Oct race.
