jmimac351
Here are some pictures I took at the grid and then later in the day / evening. Sorry if I didn't get your car. There are several pages of pictures and more are loading now which will take another 4 hours to upload. These are full, hi-res pics. If you click on the image you can select various sizes inluding "O", the original, hi-res file. You may use the images for personal, private use for showing family and people you work with how suspect your judgment is. I'm not a pro photog but I want credit. ANY OTHER USAGE requires credit to Gator Chump Jim McGovern and a six pack of Bass Ale at the next Chump Car event that Turn 1 Trailer Trash #81 Miata is attending so John C and I can make some Black & Tans. tr6driver
Jim,GREAT pictures! Considering how much time we spent in the pits vs. how much time on the track, I'm amazed someone caught us on the track! Seriously, thanks for posting. You happened to get me in the car while we were nursing it around on about 3-1/2 cylinders...

parid
How'd Mike do in that sweet looking yellow Camaro?Three sets of front pads two pairs of front calipers, and two sets of rear pads, we still only managed about half the drive time. Really fun event, not great placing

jmimac351
I think I gave the dude on the left a cigar after the race. I forget his name because I was thirsty and had trouble communicating at that point.

Anyone have a picture of Olga?
oddcarnut
Great pictures. And they confirm our suspicions that it was the evil Axis teaming up to reduce Piggy's help for the Allies. No sign of that claimed heavy oil fogging in those pictures...nice and clear like the view thru our bug splatterd windshield! We had a great time racing everyone even if the clutch hydraulics failed at mid-race, gearbox lost almost all of it's oil in the final few hours, battery died and the engine is rumored to have been imitating a proper two stroke Saab. Plus it was neat to have our friends show up in the Minis to crew

SoFlachump
Wow, we need to work on that body roll, that is after we straighten the frame back out and get the radiator away from the engine.. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video. How did your front tired wear. Id also think you need to add camber. The Mitsu GT3 welded 2 sway bars together and it seemed to work very well. Re a cheap way to get the body roll down.
SoFlachump
We have 2.5 degrees of camber in front, tires wore flat, last race in homestead we had only about .3 degrees and the outsides wore badly. Also we lowered it about 3" all around compared to homestead, were thinking of taking it down another inch or so.rear camber is at about 1.5 degrees but is not adjustable at all due to a complicated rear suspension system. They make kits for it but they cost more then we paid for the car.

Dress like a bunch of old ladies and drive the whole race with your signal light on.
SoFlachump
yes that is the left turn signal and the driver that was driving actually did make the turn left shortly after into a wall, doh
