Technical Advisory Committee Chris Huggins Posted March 6, 2017 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted March 6, 2017 Here is the last 2 Hours from our car. Its uploaded in 1080, but it will take YT awhile to get the HD version up. Two things I need to say: 1. Thanks to Mike C and all the chumpcar staff and volunteers for putting on such a good event. We always have a blast, and are proud to race with this league. We really appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these events run so smoothly. 2. Sorry to team #42 NO PANIC racing. We have always enjoyed racing with you guys, and I apologize for the contact at the end of the race. One of your members was pretty upset after the race, and I apologized, but I did not see the incident until now. Driver indicates that is the corner the brakes said "enough". So - Sorry again. Hope to see you out at a VIRC event soon. Wyatt catches Perry for our lap back starting at 10:00 minutes Incident with NO PANIC at 1:45:30 @Wyatt @chip @Bill Strong @Racer28173 @Doc
HGHarpen17
We need more photos! Who were the professional photographers out there, and where do we go to find the entire set to buy them?
Bremsen
Was that a little elbow from Perry that folded the mirror, or Wyatt getting a little loose on exit? Great battle, either way. With just under 3sec gap at the end, Perry's effort to keep Wyatt behind got them the win. Congrats on a great drive by both. That was a lot of fun to watch.
Wyatt
First off I want to say sorry again to the No Panic guys. I apologized numerous times in impound but I don't think their driver believed me. At the end we had pretty much no brake compound on the left front. In the braking zone leading up to the incident something happened that caused the car to veer hard right. Not sure if some of the compound chipped off the pad? No excuses though. I knew we were having brake issues. The stop I got in the car we literally had a brake fire on the LF. So I should have known something was going to give at some point. So sorry again. Luckily their car looked to have survived without a scratch and just a small tire donut on our already crumpled door. As for racing the Skidmark car/Perry. Boy that was fun. I was taking my time having fun, messing as I didn't plan on trying to charge him down until after the incident where they either over steered or under steered into the side of our car knocking me off track. Then it was game on. I know we put on one heck of a show. I wish I could have gotten to him but that's the way that cookie crumbled. Always next time!

I enjoyed watching that from my living room as much as almost any race I've been in. Didn't freeze my butt off either. Looks like you you may have had a light tap with the Marlboro E30 at 8:20 when his car slowed for what may have been a shift.

takjak2
Playlist with all of our video. Please recognize these drivers are learning, lots of room for improvement. I'm sure they're open to your feedback though. Our fast guys didn't get a turn at the wheel before it blew up. https://youtu.be/qpk6W6l2Md4?list=PLGUEENUCGGem-qMrfvvAUU4Fxv4wZsfOj
