ChumpCast Live! will be onsite all weekend. Paulie, Doc and Bill will be broadcasting the event live. We need your in-car cameras setup.

For those using cell phones, please use the Larix Broadcaster app. We replaced the GoCoder app as it was buggy and causing drop out issues.

Remember to join the race at https://live.racecast.me/event/58d5729a003a7acf3b6bc983 so that we can grab your in-car feed for the race coverage!

    Andrew, what's your daily driver?

Just ask him what he will be driving at Autobahn and Gingerman this year.  Andrew hates on the BMWs but races one in Chump. It's like telling people you hate techno but in secret you love it and blast it all day long in the car with the windows down going 80 mph on the freeway.

    3 too many

I'd rather have more entries. It's going to be lonely out there by the end of Sunday on a 4 mile long track.

From the other side of things, I wonder how many cars it takes to break even here, I believe the track rental costs are quite high.

Chumpcar race at Mid Ohio the following Monday sure didn't help the entry count for RA. (10-11 BMW's at M-O of 36 entries so far)

Neither did the 50 cars that will be racing at RA 2 weeks later...

April races in the North here are always iffy weather-wise. I'm opting to get some work done on the car, do some testing, and then pick some warmer weather to race in.

All good reasons why I wouldn't be surprised to see one less Central region race on the 2018 calendar :(

^^^Don't really want to put a "like" on this post, but it may turn out to be true. (I noted the sad face too, and believe you're the type of guy that would not wish bad on either series.)

3 races at great tracks within 2 weeks of each other. There's just not enough time between, nor area teams to support all 3 races. I'm surprised that all 3 have drawn 30+

I bet JSK takes this one as the final race in their Maxima.  Beware of Ludicrous Speed who did some good offseason mods and MiElan.

Ludicrous Speed will hopefully start the new motor tomorrow.  We may be fast but with a new suspension and motor there will be some debugging to do.  We now have a "small" V6 in our MR2.

I've got no interest in running the kink.  I'm an amateur and so is everyone else on track.

We we are going to have fun.   Certainly would like to see more folks join in.

I share that perspective on the kink..........  We have some work to do on the car and some schedule issues to resolve, but hope to up the registration by at least one mediocre Dodge Neon.

If we can handle a track like WGI (which can be a dangerous track ) then we should be able to handle a corner at Road America.

Not a knock on the series. I hear its a track decision.

Its a personal thing for me.    You can probably handle it, I can probably handle it.  Do I want the "hey you puked the longest ago so you have to start the race" team running next to me in the kink?  Not especially..........

So anyhow back to positives, The racing is always fun at Road America and more of you should be signing up and joining the good times.
