Gearhead_42
Terrible time to ask a registration question since most everyone is keeping things running @ Daytona, BUUUUTTTT.... I haven't registered for an event since WGI last year. Since catastrophic failures are my norm, I ended up with some credit to apply to this year's race. I "heard" it was going to be "in the system" so I could apply it at the end of the registration process... is that working or no? Secondly, my car number, from last year, doesn't show up in the available list for the race (and theres a big discaimer stating "this race only")... is it attached to my team or did someone manage to pick my existing and obscure number for the second year in a row? I thought we kept our numbers as long as we registered for a race the prior year? If it's attached to my team/car, how can I enter it so I can complete the registration? I'm running out of black vinyl...
Mikiel
Email Mike Chisek with both questions and he'll get it sorted for you. He's on his way home from Daytona right now, so you'll need to give him a few hours to get to it.
Gearhead_42
That poor guy gets stuck with all the annoying questions... OK, I'll email him Monday or Tuesday. Thanks!
Mikiel
Oh, no. Poor Phil gets the annoying questions! "I saw a movie in which this car had a flux capacitor installed, so can I get one for zero points?" In comparison, Mike gets boring questions.

Next year flux capacitors will be required on all cars, however the ability of the transponders to record at speeds greater than the speed of light is questionable, so max speeds will be limited to 87 mph.
