VampireSix
1989 Honda Civic Standard/Base 2 Door. The car is currently built for CCWS and World Racing League GP3 competition, sitting at the top of GP3s power to weight range. At its last event, the car set the fastest lap time in WRL GP3 at Raceway Park of the Midlands and finished 2nd place. The car currently runs and sits as it completed its last event. It doesn't look like much, but the car is fast, reliable, and easy to work on. It has been a while since the car has run "chump" (2014), but after a quick rules review, vehicle points value should be at 390 (150 base, +50 for engine swap, +25 for differential, +25 for transmission, 140 for coilovers). Someone please correct me if this is wrong. Engine: 1.6L ZC DOHC (factory rated 128 crank horsepower) - Rebuilt in 2013 by KH Automotive in Shawnee, Kansas. Two endurance weekends and a few track/test days on engine since rebuild. (Original factory 1.5l engine was rated at 75 HP). Transmission: rebuilt Si transmission with upgraded synchros from Synchrotech Transmissions. One endurance weekend on transmission. Differential: Mfactory Torsen Differential. One endurance weekend. Clutch: Spec stage 1 Suspension: Skunk2 Pro-S II - height adjustable - One endurance weekend on suspension. Wheels: Konig Lightspeed 15x7.5. Mounted tires are Dunlop ZII. Also includes OEM 14” steel wheel set. Last vehicle weigh in: 1989 pounds, with fuel. Cage work touched up by KC Raceware in Independence, MO. Five-point cam-lock harness from G-Force. Dated May 2013. Fire suppression system: FireSense 4.0L SPA “lite” AFF six nozzle. In-car mounted hand-held 2.5 pound fire extinguisher. Battery relocated to rear of car. Radio harness with IMSA connector and push-to-talk button from Sampson Racing Communication. Includes radios and crew-chief headset. Push-button start system with switches for lights/wipers. Fuel tank replaced in 2013. Gauges for oil pressure and water temperature. Tachometer Functioning OEM speedometer. Doors are welded shut. Some spares, including axles and clutch.
