WTB: Digital Radios

Recommended Posts

Hi Xlr8

If you are looking to go digital, You have a few options. Do you have a current IMSA system? If so, you can just upgrade the radios (both) to digital for about $400 or with your 15% chump discount you can have a complete brand new system digital system for around $800.

We used an SRC digital system at COTA this year. We had complete coverage around the track. We are using their shark fin style roof antenna. For us, the upgrade to digital has shown substantial communication improvements at most of the track we have been to (not so much Daytona).

If you want to spend the money for a motorolla system we bought our digital system from Speedcom.com.  They have great noise canceling mics that are propriety to them.  We could hear all around COTA like the driver was standing next to us and no car/engine noise.
