Congrats to Paul and the Slugworks team with your DSMturbo car. Fast AND reliable.

Wish I would have checked out the car closer when it was at Gingrman a couple years back.

Was this your debut race in the West, since moving out there?

Well, I do recall a _Top Gear_ episode where Jeremy Clarkson said of DSM engines: "Get it, and *leave it alone*" (he'd tried turbo'ing his, and forgot about the ancillaries required to make it run more than 10 minutes without overheating). One wonders if similar wisdom applies here.

The car in question here is one of the factory turbocharged models if that answers your question...?

What a weekend! I couldn't have ever imagined that it would have gone this well. My car has been a challenge to say the least, and it's good to get some reinforcement that perhaps i'm finally figuring it out.

I owe a sincere thanks to Mike and Andrea Chisek, Phil McKinney, Paulie Bill and Doc, and all the corner workers and other track and chumpcar staff. You guys are really reviving this series and I once again feel the excitement and positivity that I haven't felt since it all started in 2010. The livecast is very fun and engaging and it allows me to share what I do with friends, family and coworkers. The flood of emails, text messages and facebook posts/messages from people (who I didn't even know were paying attention) is awesome. The rules

and enforcement is really starting to make sense thanks to Mike C.

The car is great, but I was lucky to have very fast, consistent and conservative drivers behind me that helped keep things together. Also thanks to Colin's parents and girlfriend for traveling all the way out to help. You definitely cannot run a race weekend alone.

I'm registered for laguna in December, and I'll be doing some inspections on the car in the next few weeks to see if I can make Buttonwillow happen.

Thanks to those who believed in me and supported me when I couldn't seem to finish a race.

Great weekend everyone!  Lady luck was not on our side.  We popped a trailer tire going out, blew a motor in practice on Friday, broke our header completely in half on Sunday and then had to go around a wildfire on Monday driving home.  I've had enough bad luck for the year I think!  That said our team persevered and we were able to all get to run laguna seca for the first time for all of us and check off something from the bucket list.  It's a shame because the handling of our car was some of the best out there and I think with all of our power we SHOULD have...we would have been serious contenders for our first podium.  That's racing for you though!  We're going to sort through our gremlins and try again next year.

The Eh Team or Farce India per the results.

Didn't get the time to make our car similar to a force india paint job lol

Gives me chills.......my DSM chumpcar might have hope after all. First we need to finish a race....4th motor will run in a double 12 in two weeks. Im expecting the trans to grenade. Everything else is mostly new.

The Wilwood Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca images. 13GB worth of images. Some good. Most not. Shot by the most unprofessional of photographers using a camera he can barely understand how to turn on. But he did manage to get some pretty cool images of the cars racing at this past weekends race at Laguna Seca. You are welcome to download and abuse these photos. Use them for screen savers, backgrounds on your phone, and impress your work mates with your mad racing adventures. Compliments of ChumpCar and Bill Strong.
