Seats available for Mid-Ohio & PIRC/Beaverun/Pitt race

Recommended Posts

Lake Effect Rac1ng is Looking for some experienced drivers, Our car a is a fully race prepped BMW E30. It is a North Carolina car so it's very clean and competitive (No penalty laps with Chumpcar). Last year it ran in Canadian Chumpcar and was very competitive. My expectations for drivers are consistent lap times that are comparative to my own or faster. Endurance racing is very different from sprint racing so my philosophy is run your own race and consistency wins. My expectations are that you will help out with pit stops and be in the pits during the races to make sure our strategy is put in place for the races during the weekend. We currently have seats available for two events:

  • WRL September 22-24 at Mid-Ohio Full
  • Chumpcar PIRC October 7 &8th (2 seats available)

Do you still have available seats for the October 7-8 PIR race? I would be interested in driving in Sunday's race. I would not be able to get to the track until around noon on Saturday.

I have been racing a variety of cars in SCCA, NASA, IMSA and most recently ChumpCar since 1985. Due to a relocation I am the outgoing team captain of Whizdumb Racing, which began in 2011 (Honda and Neon). During that time we won Mid-Ohio twice in class and have won the ChumpCar Sportsman Award twice. I didn't think I would be available to make the PIR event, and Whizdumb already has a full card of drivers. So if you're looking for a driver on Sunday and Saturday afternoon let me know how to contact you and how much the seat will cost me.

Thanks,
