Was it the $600 entry fee or the fun track that filled this one up?  Don't know, but load that car up and head to MI!

I love Gingerman.  MI is beautiful in summer and the track is so welcoming.  I'm even more excited that a full track of you agreed and will be racing with us next weekend!  Read along to get some answers to common questions and find out where you'll be pitting.

Gates - The main gate will open at 7am on Friday.

Camping - Paddock camping is allowed on Friday and Saturday night.  Gingerman is charging $10/person/night.

Concessions - Food will be available Saturday and Sunday at the concessions stand.
Tech - If you have not had your annual tech for 2017, bring your car through the tech line along with all your paperwork filled out.  Make sure you have read the rules.  Swap cars with no paperwork will likely be put in EC unless tech is in a good mood.

Registration - If you are already tech'd, bring your yellow logbook directly to registration.  Before you arrive,
log in and check your driver roster for accuracy.  Make any corrections ahead of time.  If you are paid with the correct drivers, check-in is a 3 minute process.  If you are not coming (work issue, car issue, etc), email me to let me know you will not be there.

Pit Setup - Pit road will be open for you to setup your pits between noon and 5pm on Friday.

Test Session - Gingerman is hosting a test day on Friday.  The cost is $200 per car.  Go to their website to register

Pit Assignments - Here are your pit assignments.

A reminder: read through and print out the Supplemental Rules for this event here.

If you have any questions about registration, please contact Chelsey Vickery here.  Any other questions you can contact me here.

We're looking forward to seeing you all in MI!

For us, it was the $600.

We need to test our car before Pitt Race.  It can be close to $300 to test for 1 day at Pitt Race.  I figured that $800 for 3 days was worth it.

Plus, I plan to get some guidance from the HUGE list of Fast teams at this race.  I would like to see how we stack up against the fast guys with a fully working car.

Going to be hard if we're always battling with you in that Civic.  No big expectations this event - it's the car's first race, and we're still building.

We ran 145.0 with the Civic FYI, that's like 2 seconds off your pace.

The fastest we've ever gone in a race there is 1:44.848, and that was Misha driving.  The fastest I've ever gone is 1:45.5.  But all that was before underbody aero....

I dunno, haven't had a chance to test it to find out - as long as it keeps making the car faster, I don't really care. But SWAG says the whole package makes ~500lbs at 60mph based on lat accel.

Are you or have you monitored transmission & diff temps since doing this?  I am interested to see how that goes / went for you.

Chris put more holes in the hood and I raised fluid viscosities a touch.

I did set a 1:42.xxx in the same race..BUT it was EC :( so it doesn't count. (I am just bragging)
