Guests for Road Atlanta Feb 2018

Recommended Posts

There isn't a guest policy per se. Your family/friends can come to the track, sign the waiver at the front gate, get a sticker on their windshield and come and help you in the paddock and watch the race. If they want to help with pit stops and go over the wall, they'll need a white wristband, which are $20 each.

Tell them to come and enjoy the race!

Is the fee to get in new?

Over the last few years we've had people come to see us and not pay anything at the gate.

Yeah...it has been hit or miss through the years. We tell them just so they don't get an ugly surprise at the gate. If they don't have to pay it's a pleasant surprise.

I will be sending all the latest membership cards to your phones on Thursday evening. This should have the new expiration dates and the updated code.

If you are a member in good standing, and have your member card on your phone or printed, or have your racer/crew wristband on, then you get in free.
Non-member family have to pay at the gate.

Under 16 are free.

Read it, cant say that section is one of much focus because it isn't.  Again, I don't recall my wife paying, so either we are enforcing it or not...its confusing.

Event memberships are also available. Event members will purchase a temporary
membership at the track that will be valid only for the
duration of the event for which the membership was
purchased, and this member will not have the voting rights of the Full member.

Event Credential:
All drivers and crew (“crew” includes all
non-driving attendees, including but not limited to, family,
friends, and invited guests) are required to obtain a color-
coded wrist-band from ChampCar at registration. Track
restrictions shall take precedence over ChampCar general
access allowances
