1999 Rear Wheel Drive Dodge Intrepid with 318 motor

Recommended Posts

I think I've actually seen this thing before, maybe on Youtube.  They took the transaxle and rear suspension out of a Prowler and hooked it up to a 318.  I read somewhere that the LH platform was designed from the get-go to handle RWD applications - hence the longitudinal engine mounting and transaxle.

Never thought of that, I always believed the marketing of "cab forward design" for this or that reason, not to mention acura did the same setup to get good balance.
