reidry 109
Just went through and subscribed to all the new teams. Appreciate anyone that hasn’t hit us up yet subscribe. We’re going to push hard to hit the 1000 required before Daytona! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCApqWmJckfhF5VwGuHT872A Thx Ryan
macheesy 178
Ha some of us don't have that many friends... may need to buy them if plan is to stream at the next race. I did the free version of subpals.com and worked for 15 subscribers or so (leaving only 900 to go). But it's tedious and you have to subscribe to a bunch of trash channels. May decide to cough up the $100 and buy the 1k subs.
tneker 174
Well this sucks, 1000 subscribers is a lot. So I tried to make this easier to subscribe to each other. This link is to a google sheet with all of the team and links I could find on this thread. follow this link to google sheet and make sure you are on the list and then make sure you are subscribed to everyone on the list. Pass it around. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kQQjwEkPn5cRGceihh0lbXpsFtZW0mdvY5076C8wBAE/edit?usp=sharing

Fetterhund 39
Maybe a premature as the car isn't finished yet, but during the build and testing I'll be putting some content on here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClD3fSJpPCJ-hez9H_-eP_A
Paulie 91
As a reminder, YouTube is still enforcing that 11hr55min max video length rule, so YT will crop the beginning or the ending of your recorded video to that length if you exceed it. The live streams are not interrupted however.
krispykritter 232
Our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPH3vUS4rtW0tTAnG6Xbb7w Just started looking into setting up a livestream for the next year only to find out there's a minimum 1000 subscriber threshold in order to livestream to youtube. I assume that includes using mobile hotspots and that sort of thing? Anybody found a way around that? Cheater apps or something? We don't really care if we stream to youtube (though it would be nice), but any other platforms out there that we could use so friends and family can watch from a distance? Twitch or vimeo maybe? I think that only applies if you use a phone to stream with. A mifi box can be used. But, I still think there is a minimum number of subscribers to get full bandwidth, just something to check on. Seems like 50 subscribers, something like that.

The 1000 sub limitation is part of the requirement for "mobile" live streaming to YouTube. You will see this as a limitation using a smartphone, tablet or GoPro for example regardless of how your device connects to the internet. You can alternately use a Yi Action Camera as the app for it's connection circumvents this issue. See this video for more information.
