turbogrill
Hi Have anyone used one of those cheap ebay $100-$500 lathe/cutter/cnc? Would they work for brake brackets and various automotive jobs? Something like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0787VNTK4/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?psc=
tneker
I have no direct experience but my assumption is that any of the cheaper units that include engraving in their description don't have the structural rigidity or hp required for cutting something like a brake caliper bracket. turbogrill
Seems to be a big gap, its either $500 or $10k. I have seen some diy cnc projects, wonder what they ended up costing.
scottyk
Take a sample to a job shop, I'm guessing $100 or less and they will do them on a lunch break.
