So I just wanted to make sure of something. If you switch cars week by week you will only get points for that car? The points follow you and your car, not just you.

In other words if I went to a Street Stock for a race I would be basically starting over in the points?

Thank you.

@wyatt The most detailed explanation of the points system is here and it doesn't seem to explicitly address your question.  It kinda implies the Driver is accumulating the points regardless of how they were earned and there is one winner in each division (Original and Pacific) but that may just be my take.  Because there are two scoring systems for each race I can see how that could be interpreted differently.  I'm not in any contention for anything so I have no skin in this game other than hoping those who swap between cars week to week get comfortable with the car before the race rather than during the race.

Thanks to all who showed up tonight, it was a busy race on a tight track but I thought the standard of driving was generally excellent. Lapped traffic was generally easy to deal with and the Street Stocks showed some good judgement in when to make a pass.

Congrats to Wyatt and David for their class wins, looking forward to the next one!

well the server is crawling. Started the download at 8pm. Tried to start it this morning but was surprised to find that my isp push and update to my modem at made my WiFi router incompatible and had to make a run to Fry’s. On top of that oculus fracked up something epic and I needed to force a patch in. So yeah I missed the race

The oculus got me also,  I qualified with no sound and before the race was able to figure out how to get the sound working but I still did not have spotter or any mic settings correct.
