Ron_e
I was looking for videos for our next race, don't tell me this doesn't look like fun. Be there. Did he say sixth gear, what is that?
Ron_e
Except I think we do this configuration, even better:
rod rammage
Spoiler Does anybody know what configuration the event is going to be set to? Does anybody know if the night configuration is going to be modified/shortened, if the full course is used during the day? It's a big track, and could be a little lonely out there if there are smaller entry fields entered. Or will the final course configuration choice be determined at a later date, once the number of entries is gauged? mpact
Supplemental rules say that it is going to be full track configuration.

It will be a big field from the interest we are seeing via emails from new teams.

mpact
For those that haven't been there, the facility it one of the nicest in the country. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with UMC since it was going to be a $6Million club track to watch it grow into a $75M complex it is now. We are excited to welcome everyone to our home track. 4

Administrators Bill Strong Posted April 18, 2018 Administrators Report Share Posted April 18, 2018 Chisek said this track rivals COTA for the awesomeness of facilities.
Ron_e
Even better than COTA: The Shelby American museum & collection (which was not part of the sale) will remain at the facility, along with the real estate occupied by the Ford Performance Racing School.

Voodoo Child
I know the Time Bandit/Flyin' Hawaiian car is prepping for Utah and will be carrying the Datsun flag. Unfortunately, our drivers (and crew) will be home with our hot cocoa falling asleep in Lay Z Boy recliners. It's a pain getting old! In the meantime, we continue to prepare for Kentucky (and for the fall Fontana race). We will be testing at the Fontana Auto Club roval track this Friday (at the SVRA open practice day). hotchkis23
We really wanted to make this happen, but personal life schedules made it a no go. Hopefully it is back on the schedule for next year so we can get the chance to run it. Good luck to everyone that makes it out there!
