krispykritter
Hey all, Legitimately ended up with an extra motorcycle helmet at the end of Daytona. A team asked us if it was ours after the race ended and left it with us as we were sticking around for a while and they were headed out. Describe it or something and we'll try to sort out how to get it back to you. And hope you're local ish! ChampCar Staff DuncanDana Posted April 8, 2018 ChampCar Staff Report Share Posted April 8, 2018 This seems like the best place to add on.. My staff and I ended up with two pairs of gloves, a balaclava, a cover/carrying case for a NexGen, and I've got a white 5-gallon fuel jug that was left near pit-stall 21. I've also got a few of your credit cards that I would love to trade for my transponders.. Dana
Team Infiniti
I may have lost a blue glove last year, any chance...? If the fuel jug has no cap and a spark plug in the vent hole it was supposed to be in a bin... Sorry if so.
ChampCar Staff DuncanDana Posted April 8, 2018 ChampCar Staff Report Share Posted April 8, 2018 Just now, Team Infiniti said: I may have lost a blue glove last year, any chance...? I may have to drain the fluid out of it, you know, for safety reasons... Dana
jakks
Wait, is it filled with race fuel? If so, it MIGHT belong to a certain team who’s car is orange and blue. I’ve never confirmed it’s race fuel, so just speculating like the rest.
Hillar K
If it's the white fule jug that we left by your truck, it belongs to Connolly(sp) who were in the pit beside us.
Doc
Our in-car Verizon MiFi pack is missing from inside the car. Not sure what turn we lost it in...

Donovan
Anyone end up with an analog longacre tire pressure gauge? We were in pit stall 42, near pit in.

As exiting driver and as soon as this pit stop ended, I turn around, there are people doing damage control with piles of equipment & suits getting hastily stowed, (by all teams in the vicinity) will check our pit equip for new stuff... hit play and watch through the windshield as the storm lands heavy winds upturning a canopy and shelving. We never found out where the broadcast was going because it never showed up on YouTube but the Cerevo said it was live SOMEWHERE!!! If I can figure out the menu structure on the Cerevo I might be able to tell where the broadcast was going. We have an access "port" on the passenger side floorboard and it came undone. That's where it must have tunnelled out to escape...

Was this you? Yeah, we sacrificed a laptop screen to the 2nd storm front. Hit us hard as we were the first pit stall towards pit out at the break to the garages. As it was we were the first line of defense and we held our line but took heavy casualties....
Team Infiniti
War and racing "Hold your line!" I'm pretty sure the canopy, a new tablet, radio charger and a few other small items took damage in the first squall. Was this you? Yep- that's me! Worst part of that was me ignoring a teammate who suggested we take down that stuff about ten minutes before the gusts started... thanks for keeping an eye out for it

He might be able to help you figure out where it is going. Edited April 12, 2018 by Burningham
