Status on glass rule?

I'm bringing my B-Spec Yaris to a CC race in a couple weeks. It's got glass windows. Door glass is no problem to unbolt. But what about the glass in the sides and hatch? What is the status on the glass rule? Do I have to remove all glass?

9.1. GLASS - GENERAL

9.1.1. All window and/or sunroof glass (except front OE SafetyGlass windshields) must be removed from all competition vehicles participating in ANY ChampCar event prior to the car being allowed on the race track. This INCLUDES all EC cars.

9.1.2. For cars and/or teams NEW to ChampCar (first event), cars MAY retain original window and/or sunroof glass provided:

9.1.2.1. ALL glass is properly and thoroughly taped.

9.1.2.2. A ONE-TIME provision shall be noted in the vehicle log book. This is a single event waiver.

9.1.3. Tinted film is NOT considered legal or adequate protective tape.

9.1.4. Rear glass may remain in the car provided it is covered by a glass safety film like 3M™ Automotive Window Film Scotchshield™ Security Series.

There has, of course, been questions with no real clarification on the 9.1.4 use of "Rear"...

a narrow read would think its only the rear most window, but I think the actual interpretation is anything after the b pillar...  meaning you can read it to encompass your side and hatch...

because of 9.1.2.2 though you can feel free to tape it up with some sort of safety film, and bring it, and you will be allowed to run for your first event regardless, you can clarify with tech at that time if you need to replace your quarter glass or are allowed to retain it taped for future races.
