I have been having some really big issues with the digital Membership card not working.

We have another product we will be moving to at a later date, but until that project is completed, I need something that will keep the membership happy.

Please log into your CCES account (where you register for a race) and look in the right navigation for the Print Membership Card. click.

Then click print this page. Cut the membership card out and laminate. or not.

Please let me know of any issues with it.*

*I refuse to do printer helpdesk work.

Bill, I’m getting some error messages when trying to do this:

-yellow light says “toner”

-blinking red indicating “paper jam”

-desktop message says “drivers out of date”

let me know how to proceed with this membership card issue.

Laminate is a big word, can I do that with hand tools?

This has been a widely debated topic.  Hand tools AND thick laminate will be extra points, if you can laminate using the existing paper you printed it out on (re-purposed) its free.  Now, if it takes significant CAD work or a CNC, it'll move you directly to EC.

If I swap out the work surface for steel but end up taping it to the table am I allowed to use a plasma cutter to remove it?  Will that be added points?

Thank You Bill...  this is much more convenient in my opinion that needing to get an app and do all that other stuff on the phone...  I also have access to a ID printer so I'll have a hard card.

And this is why Bill needs to get in the habit of locking threads after he makes them.

Between you and me, We thought this would be a good thread to distract from the banning of the BMW brand. It looks like it is working as they have not participated in that thread.  Please don't let others know about this.

Thanks!

Bill,

No need to ban BMW, we just need to ban all cars newer than the 1991 model year!
