Bumping up this ad again. The tires are all sold.

The 8 Cobra R wheels are still available. Description of their condition and usage is above.

I paid $120 a piece for the wheels - you can have them for ??? Any reasonable offer will be considered.

Bump, bump ,bump....Bump, bump, bu-bump! (or was that Bomb, bomb, bomb, etc ...)

No Fox Body guys out there? @Cam Benty - you all set for wheels?

I thought there might be some interest out there??

Man, I might just have to resort to FB Marketplace, or some other socialistic media outlets...

Any reasonable offer will take these brand new wheels.

The Mustang has twelve 17x9’s.

The Thunderbird will be running 285/45/18. I cannot run 17 inch wheels with the 14 inch brakes I will be running. If the current administration would let me run the Brembo’s with 13 inch disks I would purchase a few of them.

Been a little bit - gotta ask though.  We run a contour, which probably has very similar offset to that focus up there.  How did you get those wheels to fit?  Big ole spacers?

Team seems to be quite interested, and we're out of tires for our 16's, so we might be working on a deal.  Problem is getting them to florida.

The backspacing of the standard focus svt 17x7 wheels is 5.94"

These Cobra R wheels are 5.79", so there is actually slightly more clearance to the struts.

The extra 2" of width is all toward the outside. The front fenders, we were able to roll them out fairly easy. Our car is very low, so In the rear, they would make contact. It was a bit more work to roll the rear quarter panels, due to the inner fender sheet metal attaching to the outer skin.

If you cut the inners, the outer panel is much easier to flare and widen, then the inner can we rewelded, possibly adding a strip of metal around the perimeter of the wheelhouse on the inside.

If your car is not too low, they may clear the quarters and front fenders.

But like I said, the offset/backspacing is just about perfect. No problems on the inboard side.

I think we're running like 3/4 inch spacers all the way around, so we'd likely only need to find another inch or so.  We're not super low, so that should help as well, and we're on adjustable coilovers, so we can always adjust height a bit to help.

Let me talk with the guys and see what we want to do.  Tentatively, I'd say we'll take them assuming we can sort out a price and how to get them to florida!

Ok let me know. Do you know the offset /backspacing on a standard contour wheel? I think it's similar to the svt focus because my friend runs the 16" contour svt wheels on his focus.

As I said, these wheels almost match the standard backspacing, so I don't think you'll need any spacers at all
