Indysupra
What fuel fill neck do most of you guys run? The quick fill remote or the regular remote? Not sure how fast the regular remote neck would fill. Thanks.
mender
What size is the filler neck/hose? Mine is 2.5" and fills faster than I can pour, and we dump 11 gallons in five seconds with a dry break on the stock cars.
Indysupra
It’s 2 1/4. ATL says it will be fine with the upgraded -8 vent.
mender
I tried filling it mine without opening the vent that I have and it still filled faster than I could pour from an open mouthed jug through a funnel. The stock cars/dry break need the 1 1/4" vent though.

If so, those have been deemed illegal. https://fuelsafe.com/dump-can-quick-fill-kit/
Indysupra
Just an update on this old thread. Built the car with the standard fill neck. Added an extra -8 rollover type vent and it does not take fuel worth a hoot at all. Looks like we are going to have to change to the quick fill neck. Is everyone running a discriminator valve? theblue
often it's not getting fuel in, but getting air out that limits you. what venting system do you have?
