Other then cracking open a beer and bringing it up to your face. Does anybody have a work plan that would like to share, to keep sharp and in shape in the off season. Just looking for some ideas, at home I have free weights, exercise bike, elliptical, Punching bag,  and race sim (that's exercise right?).

Try not eat like a pig and ride my bike . I'm old and the work I do is hard on the body and then there's the fire dept. Got this side job that requires getting down on the ground and back up about 60 times every other weekend . Wife keeps me jumping .  Fortunate to be in the shape I'm in .

I play a little hockey here and there to try and stay fit. We do a few Go Kart enduros every year which is a good workout. Im 35 so I should probably start working out. . .

One of reasons I try to stay in shape 62 here and Conner and I just finished 2nd at a 2hr NASA kart enduro at VIR .   I had a blast at Road America on the kart track but when it came to feature time I got the last pick on a kart #25 and it sucked bad , Still finished 8th . Karting is tough on ya .

Steady diet of moderation. Get 12000 steps a day. 60 push-ups, 60 sit-ups and as many pull-ups as possible 3-4 times a week. Add in various core and balance exercises to fill in for stability. I have 2 herniated discs (t4/t5) and this allows me to do 2 hour stints no problem.
