reconracing
What do you feel the vehicle performance index for the 2004 BMW 116i (E87) would be? Also do you feel it would be competitive at all?

Race entry is limited to mass-produced (over 1,000 units), four-wheeled vehicles certified for US Or Canadian street and highway use at the time of the vehicle’s manufacture"
Technical Advisory Committee NigelStu Posted December 16, 2018 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted December 16, 2018 ^same question I had about US/CAN market. If it was, best thing to do would be to send a request to tech to get the car approved. Granted, the engine specs seem pretty weak for the weight of the car. Even with low points, I would expect it to be difficult to get that chassis fast enough straight-line to be a top performer.
reconracing
That was a big miss on my part. As far as I know it was not sold in US/CAN. 4 minutes ago, enginerd said: I don't think that car was ever sold in the USA or Canada. Quoting the rulebook: "2.2.1. TRM-BobK
Please tell me your location and how you found this car, or have access to one. I’ve been wanting one for a very long time. TRMotorsports, we run an e36 318is and are class winners and also competitive for the overall win.
