I have a question as to qualified drivers.

I know that there needs to be two drivers in a qualified car that have raced in the car during the year.  But are they drivers from the races that qualified the car or just any race in the year?

Will sups update include specifics if we need lights for this race? Or is the track lit well enough?

My guess is you're going to need lights.  Seeing when the race ends they will require them.

The lighting is a good question, it's been hit and miss at Charlotte in terms of requiring or not requiring lights.  Bill can inquire.

Really? Do I really need to answer this question?

It is a 14-Hour race. Bring lights.

Justification for question being this is a well established NASCAR oval that has run races under the lights at night, and NASCARs don't have lights.   I don't know how well infield is lit (if at all), or if regardless of there being adequate track lighting if the cars still required lights just because of time of day.

I'll add 'working head/tail-lights' to my to-do list.

do you know which races qualified you for the championship?

I'm sure you remember who drove for you

since there is no other driver tracking ability yet

If that is the case, why have the rule.  If they don't know.....

My issue is that we had a few drivers signed up across multiple cars at our 2 qualifying races.  They may or may not have actually been signed up with MY team.

For example, we took 3 cars to Nelson Ledges.  The drivers were all mixed and matched as far as who was signed up with which team.  I just want to make sure the people who were signed up are the people I should be asking to race with me at this race.

Those lights are not all lit for us, they cost thousands of dollars to run.

Everyone should assume 14 hour race means bring lights unless you want to Park when it gets dark

yeah- kind of not enforceable because there is no actual live tracking on who's in the car at any time- just don't bring any pro drivers and everything will be fine

This should be a given. all races you should have lights to put on the car if they are already not installed. Some rainstorms get very dark. sometimes the clouds cause the tracks to get very dark much earlier than the normal sunset.
Always, and I mean ALWAYS, expect the racing gods to make it dark when you don't have lights on your car... when you are leading... Always.
Tracks that are well lit are almost always pitch black when the breakers trip thus turning off said blinding lights. Do you think we stop the race because you can't see the track?

Nope.

I can name every driver on my team at every race we have done starting in 2014 AND the stint order AND their FTD (to within a second). How is remembering who drove your car last year an issue???
