Zero Cool
i am installing the SPA 4L system. i have everything done except for connecting the pull cables to the bottle. are those meant to be shortened to fit, or attach as is? if they are meant to be shortened, how is everyone cutting the outside layer? i tried my tube cutter, but that doesn't work because the outside layer is a spiral tube, and not a solid tube. MoparBoyy
i just cut em with a pair of pliers like you would stripping a wire. just like installed bicycle brake/shifter cables.
mickindy14
I used a hacksaw it doesn't deform the tubing.

wvumtnbkr
I used my park tool bicycle cable cutters. Stupid suggestion... take the inner cable out before cutting. Once cut, use a dental pic on the inside to make the hole round again. May need to slightly file so there are no sharp edges that can snag or fray or cut the inner cable. If you eff it up, a bike shop should have a replacement cable that will work.
Bremsen
Box cutter with a new blade works as well. Watch those digits though.
