There are a few new events in 2020 that will be announced soon. We also have some new dates for some events due to NASCAR/IMSA shaking up their schedules. So keep a look out for some date changes for some events.

Any chance we’ll see Mid-Ohio?

Google street view?

:)

I don't know. I know there was some communications. But that is all I know for now. Still a lot of negotiations going on between the EDs and tracks.

That time we did all 3 configurations in one weekend was fun!

That was the only time I have ever had the opportunity to run the full course. Even got to run it with lights on the car at dusk! One of my favorite events of all time!

I got to run the last stint in the dark, and brakes that only worked after right hand turns!  The transition from south to north I would crest the hill, let off, shift early, and slam the wheel as hard as I could lat to get scrub speed because I didn't have brakes.  2 hours of that was nerve wracking!  Pulled the wheel off after the race and the passenger rear pad was a backing plate welded to the piston, with nothing left on the drivers side.

Also, that race, every single car that lead the race broke at some point, I believe with you all being the 1st ones with the rear brake hose.  I really want to go back, even if only the South course.

I think spartan was leading when a clutch failed, then it was us with brake failure? I think JSK followed suit and you guys with suspension spring? Wacky race, but the 3 track format was so so so cool. Loved it.

Oh right!  Spartan went out really early, still had FTD though right?  Yeah, we had a coil spring decide to shatter....

Oh that one time @enginerd didn't think we had a chance of winning with MOV?

You did get that advantage of you lead nearly doubling when we went to the full course for three hours.   It was fun but that nuance was a bit wonky.  😎

And don’t forget that the MOV went the other way when we switched to North course for Sunday, 4 lap penalty on a 1:15 lap is way less than 4 laps on a 3:00 lap!!!

I have considered a rules petition to change the default unit of measure for penalties in the rulebook from laps to a length unit (miles/kilometers) to address this, but haven’t pulled the trigger. I think it would get voted down by everyone but my fellow engineering homies.

Loook Nate you have an e30 and we all know you only get advantages not disadvantages 😂😂😂😂.    Seriously though a distance penalty makes sense both ways.  If they ever did the track switch again at that point laps should convert to distance and then make it as close as they can.

Im no engineer though so I’d prolly have to vote against it 😂😂

Wasn't that the way it used to be? Or up to the officials' discretion?

If you guys want Eagles Canyon, call them and ask!  They have resisted us, got some bad info from a competing series and won't give us a date.  We would like to go there.  Start a calling campaign and maybe they will change their minds.

That's still surprising to me. I'll keep my testing dollars at MSR Cresson then.
