Administrators Bill Strong Posted August 28, 2019 Author Administrators Report Share Posted August 28, 2019 and FYI... we are not using the NASCAR track depicted in the event decal image above. That decal image will be corrected before the 2020 season begins.

Ron_e
There are multiple layouts, can a different configuration be run each day?

Champ/Chump has run three different configurations there. This is the most recent and looking good for Miata domination. Throw in turn 9A to even things up a bit, hopefully for at least one day. Regardless it is a fun track. Edited August 28, 2019 by Ron_e

I don't even have a top 10 yet though (but only two races). 4 more to come in the next 4 months.

When wet it is the slickest surface I have ever driven on other than an ice covered road. But lets hope for dry, turn one flat out is a gut check for sure. Fun track. Agreed, put me in the dumb category. I would pass the leader, then spin out and watch them go right by me when I was in the Pomona car.

Well those Rivals are such a great rain tire.... @Pee Wee since you qualified, are you going to be there, or is that brutal tow up I5 going to keep you away? Should be full of awesomeness.

I'm guessing you have never driven Mid-Ohio in the wet. I swear Mid-O turns into a skating rink when the weather man says 'predicting rain' and humidity gets above 65%. When it actually rains, it feels teflon coated. Think Clark Griswold on a sled slick....

Ronh911
If we decide to tow from CT to CA we might be looking to bring another teams car, spares and equipment with us to help defray the cost. The car would need to be small.
