looking for someone that has one of these cars that race this series around Jacksonville Florida we can swing by and talk to somebody about it and maybe take a look at your car were thinking about build want to try it out

You mean a Champcar in general or a specific platform/type of car? There used to be a nice interactive map app that teams would put their location in, maybe someone will chime in where it is. 

 

There are a few teams in your general vicinity, I know someone finishing up a Focus build out towards Palatka, there is a team with a F-body Firebird in St Augustine, we have a F-body Camaro down in Ormond you are more than welcome to come check out. I am sure there are a lot of other teams up that way I am unaware of. Between Jax to the Space Coast (and Orlando) there are a TON of teams.

 

Also going to a race and seeing a lot of Champcars in one place at one time is always a great thing to do to get a feel for the series and the car builds, etc.

I'm in Hastings..  I am a 15 minute ride from I-95, probably about an hour total depending on where you are and would be happy to show you my car and talk with you... I have built 3 ChampCars since 2012, A Mazda Rx7, a Camaro, and the current Firebird.  I'm actually in the process of moving my equipment from Georgia to here but the car and most of the fun stuff is here and hopefully I will be making some upgrades for either December Sebring or Feb Road Atl as this year was the first year for the Firebird and I have some improvements to make.
