ahunt032
Morning Everyone. A friend and I own a race prepped E30. Now that we are heading into the off season, we are looking to make a couple upgrades to our car. We are in the market for a rear wing, as well as a fuel cell. Let me know if anyone is thinking of selling either of these! We are in no rush, hoping to have the car ready for an endurance race by Spring 2020. Thanks! Most teams are able to make real close to 2 hrs so a fuel cell is unneeded. It also adds a real big headache getting it to vent/work correctly.
Hi_Im_Will
Seconded on Wingmen Aerodynamics. Recommend sticking with the stock late model fuel tank, as it is very well protected. With a good twin lift and surge setup, it can get to 2 hours (assuming mild aero and tuning, and you don't drive like a maniac). With some tricks I'm sure it can get to 2 hours even running FTD-pace laps, but I'm one of those crazies who prefers to do an extra stop so that I have the flexibility in strategy to catch FCYs, so haven't put much effort into the 2 hours-balls-out thing yet....

wvumtnbkr
You can smash your car into the wall at 100+ mph and it will be the only thing that survives!

What I just realized about that picture is that it is my family and team around your car that we weren't racing. 55mini
What are you looking for in a cell? Size, shape and capacity? I have a brand new Jaz which might work with the SFI label.
