Laguna and Utah. did you guys not look at the image or the PDF?I can draw a bigger picture if you need it :)

It has nothing to do with Mr. Media. It has everything to do with the lack of cars.

No BIR?

Lame.  I hear the new management is cutting decent deals on track rental too.

I would guess we could pull 25-30 cars to this, if it was scheduled for a date the didn't have a big race 2 weeks before or after it.....What would it take to break even or make a bit of money for the series to run it?  Also, just run the comp course for two days, no need to do the Donneybrooke(IMHO), from an ease of use standpoint.

We love BIR, staying at the Condos and hanging out with everyone is a blast, the comp course is a lot of fun, only downside is the bird sized mosquitoes that come out as soon as the sun starts to set!

We could commit two cars... maybe get another 23 to commit and we could get the staff to arrange something??

I don't see why 30 cars wouldn't be doable, and with the citrus series having a successful race there last year, there may be even more interest from locals trying to get more use out of their cars.

And yes comp course for sure.  Not only because it's the more technical layout, but because the facility can rent out the dragstrip and pro paddock at the same time to cut track rental costs owed by Champcar, which lowers the break even number.

I figure we will do a northern attack on the PNW and sweep down from Canadia.
May take a bit. But we will.

This sounds like code for "We're racing at Area 27" but I've seen nothing on the schedule.

If we could get the Texas people to tow up to Colorado, maybe we could add High Plains in 2021!   If you haven't driven HPR, you're missing out...

At under 7 hours, that would be my closest track!  I'd certainly be interested.  Gotta finish the car first though...

Is NH off the schedule for 2020?

Unfortunately yes. I really pushed for this great racing track. Someone at the track double booked us. From what I understand, that person is not there anymore. and, we lost the date. I am still pretty sore about that one.

Area27, BIR, and Devner would be great additions for the MIDWEST and NORTHWEST.  Currently Salk Lake City (16hrs) and Road America (18hrs) are my shortest tows.

At BIR I like running both courses, but either-way it would be nice to have back on the schedule.

High Plains in Denver is a fun track.

Area27 looks stunning.

I'm looking to run 4 races next year so a little help on the logistics would be nice. re: shorter tows

Can we find more weeks in a year? Then we could do all these tracks.
But until that happens, we can't.
I am sorry. I am already working close to 40 weekends a year, plus my normal 7-day work week.

not kidding.

I’ll talk to Mike C. at Barber. I’m sure he can find some more weekends for you. :)

and know that Chisek is in the same boat as me. We find ourselves up at 10pm sorting out issues after starting the day at 7am.
and I am not complaining. My wife started a new job this year, so she has no leave built up. so she doesn't complain. yet.

Is there any consideration about trying to get another date? We were really looking forward to this track and race.
