track ready E30, Atlanta, $4750

Recommended Posts

Please call or text if interested, I am not on here much (470)991-9015.  All shown spares are for sale also OR come with the car if purchased!  No shipping on spares

We have been racing this car for 7 years, first as the professors and then the Sara Sloan Team.  Many top 10 finishes overall, many top 3 in class.  Very mechanically sound, car always takes the checkered flag, completed VIR 24 hour last summer.

Mods:

  • Walter Motorsports Rebuilt Racing Getrag Transmission.  Has one race on it.  Rebuild cost $1950.  This is a complete disassembly and rebuild of all internals.
  • 87 325i engine (pressure tested good when installed, never had issues)
  • ECS Tuning wheel spacers
  • ECS Tuning wheel studs
  • 15x8 wheels with RS4 245/40/15 tires - very lightly worn, 75% remaining, will last multiple races
  • PFC08 pads
  • Brake duct air guide backing plates, front
  • Fully rebuilt brake calipers with one race on them
  • Turner Motorsports chipped ECU
  • Bilstein shocks
  • H&R springs
  • Camber plates
  • Sump Armor Skid Plate
  • New Sparco steering wheel & quick disconnect
  • BiMarco Halo seat and planted mount bracket (two races on it), new belts, new window net
  • Replaced fuel tank with newer style 14.5 gallon OEM tank.  Dual low-pressure transfer pumps, one on each side of the tank, feeding a surge tank mounted in trunk and then to a high pressure pump to the engine.  All done with stainless braided lines an AN fittings.  Will run 2 hours without starvation at any track (VIR, Road Atlanta, etc).
  • Tachometer
  • Oil pressure gauge with warning light
  • Water temperature gauge with warning light for either pressure or temperature
  • Battery voltage gauge
  • Lip spoiler
  • Custom exhaust (meets noise requirements)

Other:

  • Fire suppression / kill switch / ignition switch
  • Extensive lightening.  Everything that can be cut or removed has been.  I spent 25 or so hours completely de-wiring the entire electrical harness a couple of years ago.  No issues

Spares:  comes with everything below also.

  • Car comes with pretty much a spare everything.  If you are a new team, trust me that you can spend thousands of dollars sorting out the collection of spares needed to be competitive
  • Multiple alternators, starter
  • Ignition coils, spark plugs, wires, etc
  • Spare ECU
  • Spare oil pan
  • Spare fuel pumps
  • Spare coolant hoses
  • Body parts - trunk, doors, bumpers, fenders, brake lights
  • 3.73 LSD
  • Front subframe, hubs, suspension parts
  • Spare front clip - we cut the front clip off a scrap car in case we ever had bad enough frame damage
  • Spare HID headlights (never used)
  • Spare radiator
  • Spare rotors and random brake pads
