Fuel Cell: what if it's more that +2 stock?

Recommended Posts

I will say that the rules are pretty clear that if you run a fuel cell it must be +or- 2 gallons of the original tank.

That said, what if you installed a + 4 or +6 gallon fuel cell?  Immediate disqualification or penalty points/dollars???

Sorry, just looking to see what I can get away with.

I think it's a boot to EC class if you run an oversize cell. That being said, you can add displacing blocks to reduce your capacity to a legal amount if your cell is oversized. EC class is for cars that, for a variety of reasons, don't meet the performance rules. You don't compete with the majority of cars, but you do get to race for a trophy against other cars that are beyond the performance scope.
