Terrible race for me all around.  Sorry for the bump @Hurljohn into one...it was a small one but enough to get you out of wack.  Sorry to @Justin Hall I was attempting to get around John's car and ran out of brakes.  After that I pitted and ran the rest of the race by myself until the last couple of laps.  Two consecutive slowdowns took me from 4th to 8th on the last lap.  Ugh...I suck.  See you guys next round

@Jab31169 - you suck?  Now that's funny.  I felt pretty good getting into 1:48 range qualifying!  I still have a lot to learn to get to the next level.

Did a lot of consistent laps until after the pit and I spun on cold tires then took a few laps to get the rhythm back.  I had been racing with David Palermo.  He was just a bit faster than me and was hanging about 5 seconds ahead til he made a mistake which gave me a chance to pass.  He did recover his position (which made the broadcast) and after that he was getting better and I was not so ended up not close.

At least I knew enough to give extra braking space turn 1 lap 1 - was surprised with this group that happened.

I do like rovals and this was no exception.  Too bad its on the other side of the country and getting torn down.  Hoping we get one more shot at it next year in iRacing.
