Administrators Bill Strong Posted January 17, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted January 17, 2021 NCM will be using the Purple 35 flag for hot pulls. For those that don't know what a purple 35 is, picture it like the F1 virtual safety car. drop to 35mph. maintain the distance between you and the car in front. ABR-Glen
I stumbled on Bill's "Tech Inspection 2021 Primer" post in another thread and thought it might be useful here since this will be the first race of the year for many (and it will make it easier for me to find again myself )
The_Three_Thirties
I guess there are no COVID waivers required since I can't see them anywhere (or at least not printed and signed in advance)?

Administrators Bill Strong Posted March 16, 2021 Author Administrators Report Share Posted March 16, 2021 Greetings ChampCar Members, The mandatory Virtual Drivers Meeting video for NCM can now be found HERE. Please read through the Weekend Rules and Schedule found HERE. EVERYONE (Drivers, Crew, Volunteers, Team Support, Ect.) entering the facility must bring signed WAIVERS to registration in order to receive an arm band. Please print and bring the waivers found HERE. If you are a driver or a crew please give your waivers to your team captain. Whenever they go to registration after your car has been through tech they can turn in team waivers and collect all of the bands for disbursement. This also helps with Covid Guidelines. Temporary Weekend Membership bands will be sold at registration for $20. Children are welcome but only if they are supervised by an adult at all times. However, please keep in mind, children are not allowed on pit lane. Pit Assignments can be found HERE. COVID Guidelines - Please wear masks anywhere indoors and anywhere outside of your paddock space. New Online Tech Form Submission- Team Captains you will find a new button on the main landing page when you login to ChampCar. You are not required to submit your tech form online, however it does make the tech process go faster Friday at the track. Don't forget to pre-register for the NCM Test Day on Friday, HERE. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns HERE. Safe travels! Chelsey Vickery Event Director 812.431.7716
