MoparBoyy
So if a heim joint is only the silver piece is 5 points per joint. How much is the threaded black piece that attaches to it? (Its a tube of steel with threaded internals.) Curious to what other teams are paying for points wise to attach a heim joint.

Also, if the part is being added, any bracketry would need to be claimed for material points.
Administrators Bill Strong Posted October 26, 2020 Administrators Report Share Posted October 26, 2020 Is this the bump steer adjusting parts you were talking about? https://www.speedwaymotors.com/BBK-2561-Front-Bump-Steer-Kit-CNC-Billet-Aluminum-HD-Heim-Joints,426506.html

We have the ones in the picture I posted. It doesn't use any fancy stuff to mount it just a big grade 8 bolt and a stack of washers.

We were charged 10 points for non stock suspension component for a year before we pulled them off and went back to OEM. Also were told it needs to land in the OEM location or anything that alters the pickup point would be additional points as well.
Technical Advisory Committee Chris Huggins Posted October 26, 2020 Technical Advisory Committee Report Share Posted October 26, 2020 Is this part not just a "nut" 4.7.3. Items that are point free: Hardware, fasteners, and materials used to attach things to other things (nuts, bolts, screws, rivets, duct tape, bailing wire, zip ties, JB Weld, etc.) 3

Members MR2 Biohazard
Did this get put into the tech desk to have TAC and Tech review to get a definitive answer?

Trouble maker.
