hotrod
There are up to 7 race tracks across the country that have either started construction or have plans in the works to start construction.

MMiskoe
How close to its neighbors is this one? Seems that noise is the big concern with all tracks. Unless you're a place like Daytona where the racetrack puts the city on the map, the track needs to be like Calibogie and have nothing within 100 miles or you can expect noise to be an issue. There was even a small oval track for go-karts next town over from me that got shut down over noise. Zoned in an industrial section with a heli-port next door to it, the track was opposed by a small group of home owners because four-stroke karts were too loud. Even Calabogie had to go through years of fighting because of potential noise complaints.
mender
The local track that's getting built this year had lots of opposition from the people who "moved out to the country to get away from all the noise" - by living by a highway that has 26,000 vehicles a day going by. At one of the public meetings they played a video with the sounds of Ferraris going around a track. They had the volume cranked up to unpleasant volume while showing a sound meter in the video showing an occasional peak of 65 dB. Why, that's more (barely) than my 1992 600SEL would subject a person to at 70 mph! Horrors! Edited December 6, 2020 by mender
misshift
The Ozark track is making good progress. They posted a driving lap around the track video on Facebook. Looks like it should be ready this summer. Racing on the track seems like a good place to social distance to me!

55mini
Nuts in a very good way. Looks to be a busy track and you will need all hands on deck.
